Entering negative exponants on the 41

Sorry but it's been 30 years....

I can not figure out how to enter 2.45 x 10 (to the -9th)

The minus key doesn't do the trick and I can't seem to find the right key. I remember their was a trick to it.

I just need to enter some very simple electronics equations for the general HAM test.
