Somehow my battery pack exploded inside my MUCH LOVED calculator. I moved and it was in a moving box for several weeks. By the time I got to it, the acid had eaten one of the terminals badly. I now have no power. Can someone advise where to repair? HP wants over $200 with a 6-month lead time.

If you're talking about the flex circuit terminals, someone has has a bunch of those made and they're selling them, but I have not been able to find it again yet. Otherwise, there's always fixthatcalc.com which is highly reputable.

Hello, Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.
I just discovered battery corrosion in my 41C. I gently cleaned all I could easily access and loaded new/fresh N batteries. But would not turn on. I then tried, without success, most of the tips and tricks for resetting a 41C (most described here: http://www.hpmuseum.org/cgi-sys/cgiwrap ... i?read=149 ). But, alas, it still will not turn on. So, after some digging looks like could be some fatal corrosion lurking still in the hidden portions of the 41C. I found that Diego Diaz developed a few years back (circa 2005) a REALLY nice replacement flex PCB, with instructions (http://www.clonix41.org/Maintenance/IO_ ... _Block.htm).
Trouble is I can't seem to find if this is available for purchase. Can someone kindly post any information on this?
Thanks very much!
Brian

It says at the bottom to email him, and the address on his front page is clonix41@gmail.com .

P.S.: I fixed the links on your other post where you started the topic, "HP41C Corroded Battery Flex PCB - Help". You had copy-and-pasted from the one above without going into "Edit", and that made you get incomplete links with the three dots in them.
