Extended Functions Module on HP41CX

Hi all,

I am new to the forum & have a quick question relating to my HP41CX. Does the Extended Functions Module serve any purpose on the HP41CX? I was assuming it added memory (124 registers I believe) but then I read in hpmuseum that the CX may have already included this capability. My calc certainly doesn't have this module in one of the ports. Any help would be appreciated as I was planning to purcahse one.

Cheers,

Michael

The cx already has the Extended Functions built in, plus some CX Ext Fcns which weren't in the Ext Fcn module, the most notable addition probably being the text editor. There's no point in plugging an Ext Fcn module into a cx.
