HP-48sx Manual?

I have an HP-48sx that I've had for a while, but I never obtained the manual. I'm suddenly very curious about it. I went looking for the manual, and a couple of sites have the 48G series manual, but not the SX. MoHPC has it in their library, but their library is apparently snailmail only (CDs and USB sticks) and we don't really use snailmail (or CDs) here in the 21st century. Anyone got this PDF lying around?

I found it. But it was not easy! For those who need it and don't want to pay and wait for snailmail, here are the links.

Volume 1: http://www.fixya.com/support/p1545920-hewlett_packard_48sx_calculator/usermanual-B0B8727-pdf
Volume 2: http://www.fixya.com/support/p1545920-hewlett_packard_48sx_calculator/usermanual-1A71EF2-pdf

Downloaded and in my library now. Whew!

Those links were no good for me... Perhaps one needs a 'fixya' account?

The reasons most hp fans do purchase the document collection from MoHPC are a) most will, sooner or later, need other documents and most of the relevant ones are included there in one collection, but also b) because the proceeds help to keep the site going, with no ads, etc. thus providing a site to communicate and share info with other HP users.

Also, plenty of us old farts still use CDs, USB drives and even snail mail...

I don't have a FixYa account and they still work fine for me ... scroll down and you should see the first page of the manual at that link. There's also a link that says something like "Manual not displaying properly? Click here to download." That'll get you the PDF.

It could be a browser issue. I use Chrome and/or the new Chromium-based Edge. Your mileage may vary, particularly with old IE or old Edge.

Thanks. Prblm was a combination of patience, ad banner blocking content and a genuine bug on the page.

If one waits long enough for the full file to load, and close the ad banner that comes up on the window bottom, covering the content, then click on the download icon in the browser's PDF display tool, then they can indeed be downloaded.

But the "Download Manual" button does not work, and brings up an XML error in Firefox, Chrome and Chredge.

And it turns out these are crappy scans after all that...

Better versions are available at https://literature.hpcalc.org/, including the later, single-volume 48SX OM.

Thanks!
