V41 Contrast

No I haven't informed the maintainer, I updated V41 and thought the previous version did save and restore the contrast (and color) but I thought I'd just check with the community first. It's one of those settings that once set doesn't get changed so I couldn't remember exactly plus I didn't want to revert to the previous version. Is it Christoph Giesselink that needs to be informed? Would it be ok for me to email him?
