HP41 (only) protection box

This is NOT a coffin..
(personal production; not mainstream product).
Rubber bow should be used to close this safely.
not tight (enough tight for dust).

IIRC CF 26 turns the sound off - I think the post referred to your box having the same effect when closed.

It is really nice and well made. Have you considered having the calc sit at an angle where when the top was removed it would act as a stand?

current working stituation (see picture): when the jabra loudspeaker is on the back, it dont slide (with the table tissue cover). However, the feedback is valuable. I will think if any cover modification could turn it as a stand. Personally I move the hp41 box nearby my hand and put it back (left side of the jabra speaker box). It moves dynamically on the working place. I never used on a 45degree stand (just my personal habit; but I understand people using stands).

A bit like this https://www.ebay.at/itm/124400513786?ha ... SwOhtfkPxS the cover could be used as a stand. I will think.
People are thinking about stands there. https://www.hpmuseum.org/forum/thread-15161.html
and already selling https://www.ebay.com/itm/Plastic-Calcul ... 4466985123
(new to me).

At first glance it resembled an anechoic chamber for a single HP41.

Nop. More likely a "Karl-Lagerfeld-look box for HP41".
High style 8-)
"Haute couture"

Now a version natural leather look case for my HP41CX. Contact me via private message if you want to know where I bought it (anybody can buy it; I have no license fee with any ordering).
I am happy: the vinyl synthetic terrible standard HP41 case was a pollution for my sensible eyes ;-)

What was the cost, assuming shipping to/from EU?

If affordable, I may have a friend in EU purchase one to bring when coming to HHC in October.

Thanks for sharing this!
