Hi - just downloaded wonderful emulator V41 by Warren Furlow but it won't let me paste a number copied from windows into it. I want to find an HP 41 emulator for windows that can "replace" the built in Windows calculator. I've "replaced" my iphone calculator i41CX and that's great. But in Windows I want to be able to copy numbers from elsewhere and paste them into the calulator like you can with the built-in windows calculator. Any advice? There are just too many emulators for me to download and try them all ;-). I do like ones that actually "look like" an HP41 eg i41CX and V41

Since I have my own *emulator* I'm not an expert for the lacks or features of others. That is why my reply shows options that might not be exactly what you're looking for. See attached screen shot with my suggestions.

In the middle my NutEm/PC with three additional windows (Printer, Wand paper keyboard, Card Reader) together with its main window -- all w/o photo-realistic faceplate. But copy of the display is possible and to paste numbers, alpha data, and even matrices from the Windows clipboard. Note: the Wand paper keyboard offers access by mouse to all functions of the HP-41 and currently plugged ROMs. It also includes an SDW -- Software Defined Wand -- to scann barcodes shown on the screen.

If V41 is not what you like, but edit/copy-edit/paste besides a nice look is a must, maybe the HP-32Sii or -42S could be an option (among few others).
