Aside from NutEm/PC, a few advanced emulators experiment with peripheral simulation, but full CR functionality is often limited or partially implemented.
W/o listing emulators where CR is "often limited implemented" or "often partially implemented" your contribution to the discussion sounds to me like AI-driven talk in platitudes, hollow blah-blah.
It really depends on how deeply the emulator models the original hardware.
You missed the crucial point:
NutEm/PC is
not an emulator, it's a f/w interpreter which runs the pristine f/w of the CR. I do not simulate the tempo of a card traveling through the CR, that is why the service module's speed test reports the motor to run more than 20% too fast.
You’re definitely not alone, but it’s still a niche feature.
Pls substantiate this assertion.
I’d be curious to hear if anyone has achieved this reliably with other setups or custom builds.
That proves, you do know nothing and you hope someone else could underpin your statements. What exactly is the goal of your append?
