I found cassettes that work fine in my hp cassette system. They are made by Braemar. Model CMC80. I just bought 20 new ones for $50. They aren't that easy to find but give it a try.

What norm has the cassette? Is it a standard one like this? https://staples.de/philips/2970598.html ... 1c0d155ffb
(I am thinking buying a second hp cassette recorder for hp41; no sense if no cassette are easy available).

I just now updated the links in my post above (on page 1 of this topic) so the pictures show again. I didn't realize they had gone dead.

It sure would be nice if someone would make an SD card adapter to put in the digital cassette drive. All the HP-IL electronics are there, and the 41 could use the same HP-IL commands to access files.

It looks like it does not depend on a PC or smartphone. I like that.
