Hi Everyone
I am looking for a HP-IL device connector does anyone know where to get one? Alternatively has anyone had any successful experience of Martin Hepperle's 3D printed solution and associated STL files. I have tried providing the same 3D supplier that Martin used for his DIY HP-IL connector solution with the STL files but they rejected them saying they contained too many parts.

Hi,

I printed the HP-IL connectors and get them to work. However, I use a resin 3D printer and I'm not quite satisfied with the fit and look and feel.

I have been quite successful creating a device connector using a modified STL file provided by Martin Hepperle. I used it to create a device connector for my PIL box so I can plug original HP-IL cables into it without needing to destroy them! Please find attached a PDF document describing how I made it.

@Duncan - In your part 2 PDF you mention using a "Knipex Crimping tool". Do you happen to know which tool this was?

Just for grins I'm going to try making my own HP-IL cable. I have the wire, professionally 3D printed housings, and pins (the stupid expensive ones . . .).

**edit** Never mind. I just found my answer in the documentation. It is a RS Components 2601548, which is a Knipex 9761.
